TEDxChicago Spring Design Salon Features DTC Co-Founder

DTC Co-Founder and Advisory Board Member Paola Aguirre was a featured speaker at TEDxChicago Spring Design Salon, which took place at the historic Merchandise Mart earlier in May. This year’s event was a gathering of leaders across the design and development community in Chicago who shared ideas on how design can make a greater impact in our city and across the globe.

Paola’s talk centered around her work in helping to reimagine the potential of closed school buildings and surrounding land. As a partner and founder of Borderless Studio, Paolo has been working for years to breath the next phase of life into Overton Elementary, a southside elementary school that closed its doors in 2013.
